In addition to his Authorised Financial Adviser qualification and Masters in Business Administration, Sam has 20 years experience working been in leading financial institutions in the financial services industry.

A significant part of his career has been with Deutsche Bank AG in Sri Lanka, managing and advising multinational High Net worth individuals as part of Deutsche Private Wealth Management and as Assistant Vice President, Head of Privilege Banking with NDB Bank Limited. In his past 6 years in New Zealand, Sam also had very successful stints with MARAC, Westpac, and ASB - Private Banking and Wealth Management, where he was awarded “Wealth Manager of the Year 2010/2011”. Sam’s successes over the years are testament to his extraordinary passion for Financial Planning and Investment Management.

Along with this depth of experience and knowledge, Sam credits the strength of his client relationships as critical to mutual success. This includes understanding each his client’s personal circumstances, needs and goals in providing a tailor-made financial solution to achieve their future goals in varying markets and economic conditions.

In his personal life, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife, Changa and little son, Sanju. Sam is a keen follower of cricket and is interested in travel, music and a hard work-out in the gym.
