“I believe that the key to great client service and care starts with listening to your clients and truly understanding their needs, the things that matter to them and their aspirations for the future. Only then can you begin to help them to achieve their personal goals and ensure that they have the right plans in place to safeguard their assets.”
Originally from Waiheke Island, Sarah-may has spent most of her life in Christchurch and now calls Wellington home.
Since earning her law degree from the University of Canterbury in 2007, Sarah-may has been working within the legal industry managing client relationships for a large global corporate in the publishing sector. She began as a trainer but realised her key strength and area of interest was in building relationships and providing client care. Sarah-may refocused her career and worked her way up to become a manager of key clients for both New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. She credits this rise in her career to listening to the needs of her clients and finding solutions that successfully met them.
It is this natural focus on client relationships and care, along with her legal knowledge and experience which Sarah-may brings to Perpetual’s Personal Trust team.
After travelling extensively and living for a time in Sydney, Sarah-may now has a young family to whom she dedicates most of her personal time relaxing with them and their dog, Henry.
