Jeremy is a Southerner; he was born and grew up in Dunedin, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Otago. After several years working in the trustee industry in Dunedin, he took a sabbatical to travel extensively throughout the UK, Scandinavia and Europe, before realising one of his childhood ambitions by travelling to Egypt and visiting the pyramids and the Valley of the Kings.

Upon his return to New Zealand, Jeremy moved to Wellington to further his career and joined Perpetual in 1995. His primary concentration has been in estate and trust management and, with over twenty years in the trustee industry, he has extensive knowledge and experience across all aspects of the trust industry.
Jeremy has attained qualification for membership of the Executor and Trustee Institute of The Trustee Companies Association of Australia.

Jeremy is currently renovating his character home and has become an expert in many aspects of house restoration, with this nearing completion he is looking at making travelling his next priority. What spare time he has he enjoys reading and sports.
