Gill holds a Diploma of Business Studies (endorsed financial planning) from Massey University, is a member of the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA) and has attained the qualification of Certified Financial PlannerCM. For 30 years, Gill has worked in the finance industry, from her start at Bank of New Zealand until now as a financial adviser at Perpetual. From BNZ, Gill moved to a role at ASB Bank Treasury, and then spent four years providing banking and investment advice to customers of Trust Bank Canterbury. In 1994, Gill moved to the financial advisory industry and began her studies and training in order to become a qualified financial adviser and in 2004 joined Perpetual as a financial adviser.
With her extensive experience in the finance and advice industries, Gill has gained a level of expertise that comes from learning to plan for and weathering all manner of economic conditions. Gill defines success as her history in achieving results for and sustaining long term relationships with her clients. Her ability to relate well to people is one of the reasons for this success. Gill has high standards for herself and her personalised, collaborative approach enables she and her clients to reach their goals.
When not at work, Gill enjoys spending time with her husband, Bruce, whether at home or travelling. Catching up with family and friends is also a priority for Gill and Bruce. Gill likes gardening and getting out for walks with the dog. She loves to cook and, when time permits, relaxing with a good book.
