It’s easy to get started.
Just use ‘find an adviser’ to locate an adviser in your area and schedule a complimentary initial consultation. Here you can review their profiles and disclosure statements to get a better sense of who our advisers are, their qualifications and their advice approach.
In the consultation, the adviser will:
- Talk to you about your current financial situation – investments, income, expenses and assets, e.g., house
- Work with you to determine some of your short term and longer goals
- Understand where you are in terms of risk level (this will help create the strategy and asset allocation)
- Give you an adviser disclosure statement
At this point, you can decide if you want to have a financial plan created for you.
The fees for a financial plan typically range from $500 - $1,000 depending on the complexity of your requirements.
Upon completion of the plan, you decide if you want to have Perpetual create and manage your portfolio.
With the exception of UK pension transfers, we also don’t charge an implementation fee for you to start investing with us.
The fees for managing your portfolio, including ongoing monitoring, management, consultation and reviews are tiered percentages commensurate with the size of your portfolio.
For most investors, plan preparation fees are not tax deductible; however, portfolio management fees are. GST is generally only applicable on part of the portfolio management fee.
