Bookmarking pages
Rather than struggle to navigate the internet to find a site or site page you regularly frequent, you can ‘bookmark’ these to easily find them again or even set them up so that when you open your browser, the site will automatically open as well.
In newer browser versions, you can even set it up so that a number of sites open in tabs.
To create bookmarks in Internet Explorer version 8
To make a page your home in Internet Explorer 8 by clicking on the home icon and selecting “Add or Change Home Page”
And then select to use the current page as your only home page or add to an existing assortment of home pages. If you have a number of pages open, you can elect to make all your home pages via tabs.
To bookmark a page, just click on the ‘Favorites’ button which will bring up options to bookmark a favourite site or manage existing.
