World Property and Infrastructure
The objective of the Fund is to invest in New Zealand and world property and infrastructure and cash (for liquidity purposes).
The Fund invests predominantly in the van Eyk Blueprint Listed Property & Infrastructure Fund, which provides exposure to a diversified portfolio of listed domestic and international property securities and international listed infrastructure securities. Global property provides the potential to generate higher returns plus increased diversification. The combination of property with infrastructure further diversifies the portfolio and provides a possible inflation hedge because many underlying contracts are inflation-linked. The Fund also has an exposure solely to New Zealand and Australian property by an investment into the BT Institutional Property Fund.
