The objective of the Fund is to invest, directly and indirectly, in emerging markets shares, and cash (for liquidity purposes).
Emerging market countries are low and middle income nations that are pursuing substantial political and economic reforms and increased integration into the global economy. These countries offer the prospect of higher growth rates than those offered by the developed nations over the next decade. Importantly, the emerging economies have come out of the global financial crisis with far lower legacy debt concerns than the major developed nations.
