Alternatives Fund
The objective of the Fund is to invest, directly or indirectly, in alternative asset classes including hedge funds, gold bullion and direct property. The Fund also has a small investment in cash (for liquidity purposes).
The Fund is managed by van Eyk, which uses its expertise to provide increased growth components across their investments. Alternative assets provide diversification benefits to a portfolio as their returns often have a low correlation with returns from other asset sectors.
